This whiskey barrel candle holder turns original oak staves into a striking tealight rail. We rescue staves from retired whiskey barrels, then cut, shape and sand them in our South England workshop. The surface keeps its natural grain and gentle curve, so you can still see the story of the wood’s previous life in the distillery.
Seven recessed tea light cups run along the length of the holder, creating a line of soft, flickering light. It works beautifully as a dining table centrepiece, a feature on a mantelpiece, or a cosy accent on a coffee table or sideboard. The distressed finish and steel‑band marks match perfectly with your other whiskey barrel furniture.
Every piece is made from reclaimed Scottish oak, finished with a light oil to enhance the colour and protect the wood without hiding its character. Because we use real staves and work by hand, no two candle holders are exactly the same; each one has its own grain pattern, knots and subtle colour shifts.
