This whiskey barrel lounge set with coffee table creates a cosy seating area wherever you place it. The set includes two generous armchairs and a sturdy table, all built in our South England workshop from reclaimed whiskey barrels.
First, we hand‑pick barrels with strong staves and interesting grain. Then we cut and shape the wood into curved armchairs that follow the natural line of the barrel, so your back and arms feel supported as soon as you sit down. The matching coffee table uses the same reclaimed oak and original steel hoops, which means the whole set looks like it belongs together.
Because we sand each surface smooth and finish the oak with natural oils, the wood feels refined yet still keeps its rugged character. The warm tones work well with farmhouse, rustic and industrial interiors. At the same time, the weight of the barrels gives the set a very solid feel, so it stays stable on patios, decking and indoor floors.
Every lounge set is slightly different. The barrels arrive with their own marks, knots and patina from years in the distillery. As a result, your furniture will be one of a kind rather than a factory‑made copy. Over time, the oiled oak darkens a little and gains even more depth, so the set looks better the longer you own it.
