Barrels Furniture makes furniture from reclaimed whisky-barrel oak, not wine barrels. If you specifically want a piece made from a wine barrel, our whisky-cask pieces are not the same product.

What should you compare?

Choose by the job the furniture needs to do
For drinks storage, compare our whisky barrel cabinets. The full cabinet below has an opening side door and its original inset barrel top. It is different from an intact barrel used only as a table.

Will the grain match the photograph?
Our pieces are handmade to order in England from reclaimed whisky-barrel oak. The design follows the product shown, while grain, colour and old working marks vary between barrels. We do not promise identical wood markings on every order.
Can the furniture live outdoors?
Indoor use best preserves the oak and finish. For outdoor use, keep furniture covered when possible, wipe up standing water and bring it indoors when not in use. Check the care guidance for the particular model; reclaimed oak is not a promise of maintenance-free, all-weather furniture.
Where do you deliver?
Free delivery covers mainland England. Wales, Scotland (including the Highlands), Northern Ireland and UK islands cost extra: contact us for a delivery quote before buying. Courier delivery normally takes 3–7 working days after dispatch, plus production time.
