If they already know their favourite whisky, another bottle can be a difficult choice. These five gifts put reclaimed whisky-barrel oak to a different use: a personal sign, lighting or furniture for the place where they unwind. Each piece is handmade in England.
A small gift with character
Barrel-stave candle holder
A piece of barrel oak without adding furniture. The three-tealight holder keeps the oak’s original curve and is 35 cm long. Three tealights are included; use a stable, heat-safe surface and never leave them burning unattended.
For their own home bar
Personalised oak barrel lid
Add a name, date or your own design for a birthday, retirement or home-bar opening. Full and Half styles both cost £75 including engraving. Check the wording before ordering.
For their whisky corner
Oak whisky barrel lamp
A gift for someone who already has a home bar: an oak lamp for their counter or side table. Listed size: 40 cm wide × 25 cm high. Uses an E27 bulb, not included; keep indoors and dry.
Beside their favourite seat
Reclaimed barrel coffee table
For a snug or lounge, this small barrel coffee table combines oak with metal legs. The listed width is 53 cm and height 30 cm. Check the height beside their seat before choosing it as a furniture gift.
For a growing collection
Half-barrel drinks cabinet
For someone setting up a home bar, this cabinet offers shelves for bottles and glasses in a wall-friendly shape. Listed size: 65 cm wide × 90 cm high. Check their available space and bottle fit before ordering.
Choosing a Christmas or birthday gift?
Choose the candle holder for a smaller budget, the engraved lid for a personal message, or furniture when you know the recipient’s room. For a date-sensitive order, check timing with the workshop before buying. See our home-bar gift guide for bottle openers and wine-rack options.
